Overwhelmed by the events, the detectives didn't get the chance to spend as much time as they had expected in the lounge. There were just too many things to do, to plan, to coordinate. Any downtime they had was usually spent trying to catch up on lost sleep.
But sometimes, occasionally, the Sleuth Gods looked down on the overworked and overwhelmed detectives with mercy and granted them a small respite. Here are some of those times.

I'm a tough lady and can handle alcohol. A whiskey straight up please and make that a double.
Even though my regular drink is bourbon, I think Ill join sultry in a Manhattan, rocks. No, I don't want a bourbon Manhattan. The best Manhattan maker I ever knew said the secret to a good Manhattan was cheap whiskey and good vermuth. How about one of those.
